About this experience

Begin your day with a relaxing canoe boat trip through a magical river overgrown with old Banyan Trees and water palms (Nipa palms). This jungle grows along the small canal of Sung Nae River, also sometimes called the Little Amazon. It gives us a perfect chance to spot wildlife including snakes, monkeys, birds, and crabs. We will look around Takuapa local market on our next stop before heading further to Kuraburi direction. Experience the real serenity of the rainforest by going with us on a jungle trek to Sai Roong waterfall. Be amazed by how a dip in a cool refreshing pool can be and enjoy provided seasonal fresh fruit, snack, and refreshment. A delicious Thai menu will be served at a cozy local restaurant.

“The Little Amazon” is a small stretch of mangrove forest located in the town of Takua Pa in Thailand’s Phang Nga Province. The notable feature of Sang Ne Canal is the massive banyan trees whose intricate root systems create archways over the small waterway. The Little Amazon is a haven for wildlife, and visitors commonly see macaque monkeys, reticulated pythons and other snakes, oriental pied hornbills, monitor lizards, kingfishers, and more.
