About this experience

What you'll see

DAY ONE: ARRIVAL & EVENING IN ARUSHA 

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro (JRO), you will meet your driver guide for your transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Mount Meru Hotel.

DAY TWO: DEPARTURE FROM ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE 

After breakfast, you will meet our representative for briefing about your safari then depart for Tarangire National Park for game drives stopping for a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Ang’ata Tarangire Camp 

DAY THREE: DEPARTURE FROM TARANGIRE TO MANYARA 

You may decide to go for early morning game drives then returning for breakfast or take a normal breakfast and leave the camp around 8:00. Afterwards, depart for Lake Manyara National Park proceeding with game drives and picnic lunch. Dinner and night at Olea Africana Lodge 

DAY FOUR: DEPARTURE FROM NGORONGORO TO SERENGETI 

Depart for Serengeti National Park after breakfast going through Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a chance to stop at Olduvai Gorge Museum or a Maasai village. You will stop for picnic lunch on the way with game drives en route. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge

DAY FIVE: FULL DAY GAME IN SERENGETI 

You have three game drive options today. First option: leave for an early morning game drive then returning for late breakfast then leave for another game drive with picnic lunch returning for dinner. Second option: leave after breakfast, returning for hot lunch then have a siesta till 4:00 then leave for an evening game drive returning to the camp for dinner. Lastly, is to leave after breakfast with picnic lunch then returning in the late evening. Dinner and night at Serengeti Serena lodge

DAY SIX: DEPART TO THE NORTH/SOUTH SERENGETI 

After breakfast you will take your picnic lunch and move towards the North or South where the great migration is. Dinner and night at Serengeti Sopa Lodge

DAY SEVEN: GREAT MIGRATION 

A full day game drive with picnic lunch so that you enjoy watching the migratory herds without time limit. Dinner and night at Serengeti Sopa Lodge

DAY EIGHT: DEPART FOR NGORONGORO (CRATER TOUR) 

You will have an early breakfast and try to leave camp early. Arriving at Ngorongoro crater and proceeding with game drives stopping for picnic lunch. Dinner and night at Marera Valley Lodge

DAY NINE: DRIVE BACK FROM NGORONGORO TO ARUSHA FOR CONNECTING A FLIGHT

You will have an easy morning taking a late breakfast. Afterwards you will depart for Arusha having a possibility to shop for souvenirs. At lunchtime, our representative will debrief you then proceed to the airport for the connecting flight back home or to an EXTENSION for ZANZIBAR
