This is a unique experience where you will reach excellent views of Phoenix, learn about the plants and animals of the Sonoran Desert, and get a good workout! During sunrise or sunset you will see beautiful changes in sky’s color as the sun moves below or above the horizon. In hotter months dawn or night hikes are a great way to experience the outdoors while avoiding the daily high temperatures. Prior to the hike, please be sure to contact your guide Scott Zdunczyk to confirm a time. The times provided on the page are just a range of possible starts. Please provide a phone number or email with your booking so that your guide may reach you with any important updates. Be sure to hydrate before your hike in the summer, it makes a difference! The area contains many trails, allowing us to customize the difficulty. The typical route is short but difficult. There are less strenuous options available and if you know you would like an easier route, please let your guide know with your booking.
