1

Looks amazing!

This world record wall was gorgeous when it was first completed back in 2010. It's definitely a must see when you come to Hanoi.

3

The Phung Hung street in Hanoi’s Old Quarter has been recently revived with beautiful mural paintings recalling Hanoi in the past. It just opened to the public in early February 2018 which is why very few photos of Hanoi contains photos of this street, it is now a favourite photo location and cultural space for city dwellers and visitors. Actually, when we were there a lot of teachers were celebrating Teachers Day taking photos with the murals as background. This is a nice spot to take photos of the landmarks in Hanoi.

4

The restaurant has a unique atmosphere. The foods were served from the decade starting in 1976 when the state controlled the economy so tightly that restaurants were barred from having names, and privately owned businesses were illegal.

5
Stop 5

Tran Quoc Pagoda is the oldest of its kind in Hanoi, dating back to the 6th century Standing at 15 metres, the main pagoda is made up of eleven levels, while its surrounding buildings include an incense burning house and a museum housing historic relics. You can also see intricately carved statues dating to 1639, each of which bears a unique facial feature.

6

This memorial to John McCain was erected because he was shot down near there. John McCain was landed the lake with his broken arms and shoulder. A group of Vietnamese man saved him and then him to the Hoa Lo or Hilton Prison for 5 years.

He parachuted into Truc Bach lake where the memorial is located.

7

Bia hoi or fresh beer is just as much a product of these conflicts and invasions as anything is, so we are going to stumble and stagger through the history of this people’s beer which has become iconic of drinking culture in Vietnam.

8

A special and unique place in the walk around West Lake. The two dragons are a two-part sculpture situated in the water, relatively close to shore. It was built in 2010 for the celebration of one-thousand-year Hanoi. They are covered in tiles representing their scales. There are cafes, as well as ice cream and food vendors nearby, and it's a pleasant spot to relax.

9

Site of bits of a downed B52, not much visible but interesting to see what was happening there: A massive bomber B52 was shot down in the sky of Hanoi and landed the lake. You will be able to understand deeply about the Vietnam War.

10
Stop 10

You would have a chance to hear the story of Ho Chi Minh. We will be there at exactly 9 pm to see the soldiers take the flag off which is very interesting.

11
Stop 11 Pass by

On the way we drop you off, we will pass the army museum to see how beautiful the flag tower is.
