You will meet the guide at the National Opera House to start the tour from a beautiful piece of architecture and home to many of Tchaïkovsky masterpieces. You will continue Volodymyrska street and see the very first entrance to Kiev - the Golden Gates. Next highlight is the Saint Sophia Cathedral listed as the UNESCO site. The cathedral may be visited optionally if you wish (tickets are to be purchased on spot ranging from 3 to 4 EUR). You continue the journey and visit the actual monastery of Saint Michael, an important place for Orthodox Christians.
On the way you will discover some hidden murals that became an urban art movement since 2014 all over Kiev. You continue the trip to Andrew's descent, the cozy cobbled street with many souvenirs and a great ambience, see the Saint Andrew's Church on the top of the hill that is the symbol of the old city of Podil.
