LAGUNA Humantay lake is one of the most beautiful landscapes of the salkantay trek. It is located at the base of LAGUNA Humantay and Mountain. Is one of the mountains that you see in the salkantay trail. Lago Humantay was recently included in the itinerary of salkantay terk because is not located next to the trail. You have to get to the first camp of the Salkantay trail which is Soraypampa from there you take a trail with direction to Humantay mountain to enjoy the beauty of the lake. The lake is at 4200 mt / 13799 ft. formed by the glaciar water melt from Humantay mountain, the color of the lake is very special because of the minerals that the lake has, it has a turquoise color especially with the brightness of the sun

This day we will pick you up from your hotel between 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. and then travel by private transport to the town of Mollepata in the lush valley of the Apurimac River. After a well-deserved breakfast to fill up with energy we will continue our trip to Soraypampa (3900 masl) after a short break, we will start our trek to the Laguna de Humantay located at 4200mt 13779 feet after the ascent of 1 hour and 30 minutes we will appreciate the wonderful where we will have free time for photographs. Then we will return to our camp to have our lunch with a spectacular panoramic view and surrounded by snow and then be moved to the city of Cusco.
