Stop 1: Salt Farm
The first stop on your tour will be at a salt farm, where you’ll learn about the importance of Cambodia’s salt industry and enjoy a taste if you’re lucky.
Stop 2: Paddy Field
Your next stop would have revealed Kampot’s vast landscape of paddy fields. Paddy farming is one of Kampot’s major agricultural activities, and many locals still cultivate and harvest rice using traditional methods. While taking in this incredible scenery, your guide—who may even have worked in the paddy fields himself—will explain the process involved.
Stop 3: Historical Temple Cave
Visit a temple cave overlooking Kampot’s natural landscape as you learn more about this historical temple from your guide.
Stop 4: Secret Lake
At this point, you’ll be taken to a lake called “Secret Lake,” which was originally built as an irrigation dam during the Khmer Rouge regime.
Stop 5: Pepper Farm
