About this experience

Big Red, known by the locals as Al Hamar, is one of the most popular places for dune bashing in Dubai. It stand 90 meters (300 feet) high, making dune bashing there a thrilling, exhilarating & unique experience. You will wonder how the 4X4 does not tip over as it makes it way up the dune. But don’t worry; you’re perfectly safe in the hands of certified drivers. The Desert Safari takes place in the late afternoon in order to avoid the hottest part of the day for the comfort of guests. Options such as quad biking (charges applied as per the bike) are also available upon request. Dune Bashing is not the only activity you will enjoy in our Desert Safari. While in the camp, you can ride a camel, see some sand art, and get a traditional henna tattoo. Finally, complete the evening feasting on a starlit Arabic BBQ dinner while watching sequined belling dancing, tanoura dance and fire show. Also enjoy smoking shisha. Enjoy an evening of desert fun on the 7-hour desert adventure. Our safari driver will collect you from your hotel be in Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman in 4X4 car. In the desert, enjoy a roller coaster drive through the great red dunes behind Dubai. We halt on top of dune where you can watch the sun set and also take some memorable breathtaking pictures, before venturing into a desert camp where you will be greeted with the traditional hospitality for which the Gulf Arabs are most famous. Enjoy the true Arabian ambiance, at this typical Bedouin campsite, with traditional Arabian carpets, low tables and cushions for comfortable seating. While in the camp, you can ride a camel, see some sand art, get a traditional henna tattoo& get photographed in Arabic costume. Finally, complete the evening feasting on a start-lit Arabic BBQ dinner while watching sequined belling dancing, hypnotic tanoura dancer spinning and fire show.
