About this experience

We encounter the Akrotiri museum - Prehistoric town, one of the biggest but finally destroyed civilizations 3,600 y ago and you’ll see and learn about that a mythical catastrophe. Then, a Wander across Red Beach (nearby Akrotiri), for swimming and marvelous breath-taking moments under the wild pure & rocky landscape & impressive formations, really created by God. Then we go to the Black Beach, which gives you another aspect of the volcano eruption and of the unique created landscape. Next is the Visit of Prophet Elias Monastery, (highest place in Santorini), for island’ 360o view. Then there is Pyrgos traditional & picturesque village for a lovely walk between the small white houses, unique old churches & narrow pathways.

Wine tasting is also a great experience, as the wines in Santorini are really amazing!

Firostefani & Oia traditional settlements at last will give you the great finale of the spectacular 360o view of caldera & Santorini's volcano.

Stop 1

Encounter the museum and Prehistoric town of Akrotiri. There you will learn about life before and after the Santorini volcano eruption on the island of Thira.

In that breathtaking view beach you'll have enough time for swimming and relaxing, and can enjoy the mesmerizing view of the divine landscape.

Few meters below from the Red beach there is the different landscape of Black Beach, where you can swim and take some photos.

Pyrgos is your next stop. Its paved and narrow pathways hidden between many old traditional stone houses give you the sense that you are walking in an ancient town labyrinth. This village is located at the highest point of the island and just a few meters below the Monastery of Prophet Elias, which has been standing since 1711.

Next, experience wine tasting in an area where the unique grapes have been voted many times as one of the better varieties from around the world. You will have the opportunity to taste some of the most exquisite and tasteful wine flavors such as Visanto, Nychteri, and Assyrtiko.

The traditional settlement of Firostefani is your next tour stop, where you can admire the magnificent views of the breathtaking caldera of Santorini. You'll also have the opportunity to see the famous and frequently photographed “Blue Dome”, the old orthodox church covered by a blue dome.

Your final stop is the cosmopolitan village of Oia, which is located on the northern edge of the island. Walking over the paved paths in this pure blue and white village is an extremely unique experience, and is bound to provide you with many photographic opportunities. At the conclusion of your experience, you will be driven back to your hotel in Santorini.
