Travel tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to visit The Great Pyramids of Giza, start by visiting the pyramid of Cheops which is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the ancient world, the size of the largest pyramid of Cheops is 137 meters high & measures 230 meters along each side, it was built as a tomb, the shape possibly intended to help the spirit of the dead pharaoh to rise to heaven (that was the reason of the pyramid shape), then move to visit pyramid of Chephren, it's the best preserved of the three main Giza Pyramids the top part still retains the original facing of smoothly finished stone giving an idea of how the pyramids would originally have appeared, beside pyramid of Chephren will see the Great Sphinx, carved out of natural rocky outcrop, then you will see the pyramid of Mykerinus the smallest one of the three pyramids, this pyramid is partly dressed with pink granite slabs and then visit the Valley temple.
