We at "Foodies Day Out" offer you the chance to experience the local cuisine as the natives do. We take you to places where no guide book can lead you to. On this tour, we travel across the city of Madurai, to taste the best culinary dishes the city has to offer. We drive around in a car to eat the best signature dishes of our local eateries and also walk along the streets to indulge ourselves in uninhibited eating spree. You will get to taste some unique "madurai" dishes, such as paruthipaal (cotton seed milk), thennam kuruthu (bark of the coconut tree), bun parotta, the super delicious Jil Jil Jigar Thanda etc.

We will have a few snacks in the food carts around the tank. Its an ideal place to take photographs. Relax and walk a little.
