Morning trip: Train No. 1232

At 8:20 am you can start your day with a wonderful drive from Badulla that will take you to historic Demodara by 9:10 am. The train travels through green hills and makes a short but magical stop at 9:28 am in Bridge of Nine Arches, so people can take pictures of the stunning views. The journey continues to Bandarawela, where travelers are given a 30-minute break to stretch their legs. Travelers then return, passing through Ella town, and complete the morning ride at 11:39 am in Demodara railway station.

Afternoon Trip: Train No. 1234.

The day trip starts at 12:50 pm from Demodara and heads to Bandarawela. Along the way, stop in Ella, which offers magnificent views of the mountains of Sri Lanka. After a relaxing stop in Bandarawela, the train departs at 14:35 and returns to Badulla. It makes its last stop at Demodara at 3:35 pm, leaving riders with memories to last a lifetime.
