The Malecón which is located at the Guayas riverfront, the picturesque barrio of Las Peñas and the nice atmosphere makes Guayaquil the beating heart of Ecuador. We will visit the Malecon 2000 which attracts thousands of people, especially on weekends. After, we continue to Las Peñas Neighborhood declared as a Cultural Heritage in 1982 and is situated surrounding the Cerro Santa Ana with its unique atmosphere and colorful houses. You will need to hike up 444 stairs until to get to the summit of the hill from where you will obtain an amazing panoramic view on the city. Return to the button of the hill to take cross the Guayas river on board of a modern transportation system called aerovia “cable-car” until arrive to Duran where you will take the transportation to continue to visit a Cacao farm and learn more about how the main chocolate ingredient is grown at these low areas
