About this experience

Enjoy with us, in complete relaxation, one of the most requested tours of Western Sicily.
The journey begins in Monreale. Climbing Monte Caputo, you arrive in the town, from which you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Conca d'Oro and the city of Palermo. Upon arrival, you will find the Duomo, one of the most extraordinary examples of Arab-Norman style in Sicily. Inside you will be surprised by the bright majesty of the Byzantine-style Christ Pantocrator and the treasures kept upstairs. A short distance from the Cathedral, you will not miss the opportunity to visit the Cloister, the most complete monument of Romanesque sculpture in Sicily.
The next stop is Cefalù. After about 100 km, you will arrive in the picturesque seaside town. The narrow streets of the historic center, which offer suggestive views of the sea, ancient houses, flowered balconies and typical Sicilian scents, will lead you to the main square, where the Duomo stands, another masterpiece of Arab-Norman style.

The Cathedral of Monreale is a masterpiece of Arab-Norman art and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located a few kilometers from Palermo. The cathedral is famous for its extraordinary mosaics decorating over 6,000 square meters of surface, representing biblical scenes of extraordinary beauty, including the famous mosaic of Christ Pantocrator in the apse. Entrance to the cathedral costs €4 per person, and inside you can admire the majesty of the architecture, with the carved wooden ceiling and elegant columns. The cloister, attached to the cathedral, is another treasure not to be missed. Composed of 224 columns, each decorated with unique capitals that tell stories of the Old and New Testaments, the cloister is a perfect example of cultural fusion between Christian and Islamic elements.
