During the 4 hour (Morning Tour with Lunch) or 5 hour tour (Afternoon tour with Dinner) we give you an insider’s look at country living and wine making. Come with us, visit the wine cellars, meet with the local farmers and winemakers and enjoy the ambiance of nature over a glass of quality wine. The tour starts with pick-up from your Vienna hotel.
Our driver-guide will take you to Weinviertel Wine Region, which is the largest wine growing area of Austria, located about 30min from Vienna. Most famous grape varieties are the Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling & Zweigelt, which you will taste during the tour. During the short ride through the scenic hills of the region you will learn about the region and the people here. At the wineries you will meet with the local winemakers who will present their wines, their cellars and their story to you. In the small groups we have a friendly mood and very cosy atmosphere. During the tour you will taste 10-12 glasses of quality wine at three different winery, and your journey is completed with a traditional Austrian dinner at the third location.
