The Château d'Auvers is a 17thᵉ century building, located in Auvers-sur-Oise, in the Val-d'Oise. "It constitutes an example of original development of a heritage site, in the heart of a village of international renown."

On May 20, 1890, Vincent van Gogh took board for 3.50 francs a day at the Auberge Ravoux. He was housed in a modest attic of 7m2, room No. 5, lit by a single skylight.
