About this experience

Italian colonization in Santa Catarina began around 1835 and occupied several regions. On this tour we will show you a little bit of how it all happened.
São João Batista: First stop will be in this small town that stands out as one of the biggest hubs of the footwear industry in southern Brazil.
Nova Trento: Colonized by immigrants from Trentino Alto Adige. Let's get to know its main attractions, such as a charming artisanal winery that sells delicious colonial products, the Immigrant Museum, which has a collection of 8,000 pieces. Nova Trento is one of the main religious destinations in Brazil for housing the Sanctuary of Santa Paulina, the first Brazilian saint canonized by the Pope in 2002. Visit to the complex and the Basilica. Lunch will be held on a rural property that serves a delicious typical homemade Italian buffet. After lunch we head to Brusque, birthplace of the textile industry. Shopping time and return to the hotel.
