About this experience

This Private tour of the 7 color Mountain Rainbow Mountain will begin with your private guide and transportation picking you up at your hotel in Cusco early in the morning .  Then you will head to the picturesque town of CUSIPATA, south of Cusco. You will see Andean animals like llamas, alpaca, and vicunas in the deep valleys.  We will arrive at 6:00 a.m. at the beautiful village of Chillihuani and then to Fulawasi, where the trek will begin.  Before we set off, we will get our delicious box lunch to take along with us.  We will then walk along a path  between the mountains of intense colors and small streams of ice water that feed and give life to this valley.  As we walk, we will observe how the colors of our surroundings will change due to the climate.  Then we will reach our highest point of 17,000 ft, and be at the top of the mysterious mountain of 7 colors where we will have our lunch

This must see, little known spot in the Andes with its naturally colored mountains will challenge you physically and is a perfect location to get some great pictures. Be dazzled by the Vinicunca Mountain, also known as Rainbow Mountain. This amazing, full day, private adventure through the Peruvian Andes, will begin with an early morning pick up from your hotel. Your expert guide will show you breathtaking landscape along the way and take you to a natural rainbow painted across the mountain ridges, truly a once in a lifetime experience. Rainbow Mountain is an undiscovered land, with the colored minerals that form the painted hills and is full of desert landscapes, snow capped mountains, herds of Alpacas, vibrant green valleys and unmatched pristine beauty. This hike lets you experience summiting a mountain of over 16,000 feet. Once you reach the final point, you have a 360 degree view of this beautiful landscape and are able to enjoy the delicious box lunch we have packed for you and take incredible pictures before we begin the trek back down the mountain.
