Early departure to San Antonio de los Cobres following the tracks of the Train to the Clouds crossing the colorful Quebrada del Toro of spectacular scenic beauty where we see the mutation of nature as we gain altitude, up to over 4000 m.s.n.m. Then we continue our trip until we reach Santa Rosa de Tastil where we will make a brief stop, then we will arrive at San Antonio de los Cobres. After lunch (not included) in San Antonio de los Cobres, we take the national route 40 to the north and after about an hour we will arrive at Salinas Grandes in the province of Jujuy where we will visit the salar. Then we descend through the impressive Cuesta de Lipán, reaching the maximum height of the trip: 4170 masl to empty into Purmamarca. Walking tour through the town and its craft market. Return to Salta by route 9.
