Murchison Falls is the ultimate wilderness get-away (no cities for miles) and there aren’t many other tourists. Enjoy an un-touristy, authentic, low-key experience and see four out of the Big Five: lions, elephants, leopards, and Cape buffalos. The only member of the Big Five you won’t see? Rhinos, but these are available to spot at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, en-route to Murchison, for an additional 50$ for adults and 25$ for children.
