f you are in London and you are looking for an adventure, then Questo has something special in store for you! Your city exploration should start in a glamorous way! And which place could be more suitable than Bond Street?

The Champs-Elysées of London, set in the center of historic Mayfair, Bond Street has become a haven for gracious living, an oasis of elegant stores, exclusive brands, designer fashion, luxury goods, fine jewels and many others that could make the balance of your credit card to cry. But what could possibly such a luxurious street hide? Is it a dark story? Maybe some spirits that are still wandering in the search of Louis Vuitton sales? Check your surroundings to find the clue that will unlock the not-so-glamorous part of this place.

You are now headed to Berkeley Square, the green town square of Mayfair. With its birdsong and tall trees, the plaza provides a serene escape from the hubbub of the city center. These trees were planted in 1789, which ranks them among the city’s oldest.

While wandering along the paths filled with leaves, you can spot the impressive houses in which such historic figures as Winston Churchill, writer Horace Walpole and Rolls-Royce co-founder Charles Rolls lived. Further on in your walk, you can come across the Woman of Samaria statue by Alexander Munro, a statue that seems inherently innocent. But everything has a dark lining and this place is no exception! Look around to find the answer to your question, that will lead you to the next checkpoint!

Discretely hidden alongside the trees of Green Park, in the proximity of Buckingham Palace, there lies the Canada Memorial - a nice tribute to the Canadian soldiers that died during WW1 and WW2.

"In two world wars one million Canadians came to Britain and joined the fight for freedom. From danger shared, our friendship prospers.", as the inscription from the memorial reveals. This memorial embraces the Maple Leaf symbolism, so particular to the Canadian culture and above all, symbolizes the strong historic bonds between UK and Canada. Search the place to see what this memorial hides, solve the challenge and advance to your final destination!

9

Having reached this stage, we hope that you didn’t get frightened so far because you still have discoveries to make. Your path leads you to the Queen's Chapel, a wonderful hidden gem, tucked beside St James's Palace. What makes this place stand out from the crowd is its Palladian style with richly gilded and finely detailed interior, built by Inigo Jones between 1623-25.

It is this small chapel where royals like the Queen Mother and Lady Diana have lain in their coffins before their funerals. But even the royal family has its secrets, buried deep into the ground or maybe, in this chapel. Answer the final question and you can call yourself a true Questo explorer that conquered the Haunted London!
