Mikumi National Park was established in 1964 and covers an area of 1,070 square kilometers. It was later expanded in 1975 to cover the current area of 3,230 square kilometers. Mikumi National Park is located north of the famous Nyerere National Park. The park is the seventh largest national park in Tanzania and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam throughout the year.

Your driver guide will pick you from your place at 04:30am and drive to Dar es Salaam SGR Station to take electric train to Morogoro Town which depart at 0600am and arrive at 0750am. On arrival in Morogoro train station you will meet with your driver and start driving to Mikumi National Park which is approximately one and a half hours’ drive (you will have breakfast in Morogoro town). On arrival in Mikumi National Park you will start with game drive until lunch time.
After lunch you will continue with game drive until 04:00pm then you will start driving back to Morogoro for your train to Dar es Salaam which depart at 19:20 and arrive in Dar es Salaam at 21:10pm.
On arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will meet our driver who will transfer you to your place.
