Selous is the largest Game Reserve in Africa covering the area of 54600sqkm and Mikumi is the fifth largest National Park in Tanzania covering the area of 3230sqkm.
Selous is famous for its Elephants, commonly seen are lions, wild dogs, buffalos, bushbuck, impalas, elands, baboons, zebra, wildebeest and greater kudus. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, zebras, leopards, crocodiles and many more. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park.
