About this experience

The Sled Dog Adventure takes place in a remote portion of Canada. Play with the puppies while learning what a mushers life is all about. On the included 20-minute ride with the musher you will be amazed by the dogs' power, and energy. The mushers will give the dogs direction as you travel up and down through this alpine wilderness. Enjoy the experience of panning for REAL gold with our guide who provides your demonstration. Follow the guides instructions and find those little shiny gold pieces.

This is the most authentic mushing activity around! These dogs are the real deal, and the experience gives you the inside look into life as a dog racer here in the north.

The journey to the camp is a trip through the beautiful wonderland that is the great north. Lakes and mountains abound and maybe even some wildlife!

This tour requires entering Canada so PASSPORTS are required!

Vehicles are collapsible wheelchair accessible, passengers must navigate three steps with hand rails on all bus, however the driver is unable to assist passengers boarding and disembarking due to insurance regulations
At time of booking passengers must provide your ship name so we know which dock to pick you up.

- Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before. - Meeting location: Your driver-guide will pick you up at the pier next to your ship. Please remember to bring your PASSPORTS. Our bus will be marked with the name Klondike Tours. Please contact us if you would like to by stopping at the office on 3rd Ave. and State Street or calling us at the number below.

- Cancellation Policy: Must inform of cancelation 24 hours before activity in order to receive a refund. Klondike Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour based on lack of participation. Every effort will be made to accommodate you in the event we cancel. In the event that the cruise line cancels the stop, a full refund will be applied. There will be no refunds for missed tours due to not having passports ready at the time of departure.

We will be crossing the US border and PASSPORTS are required. (US citizens may use photo ID and a birth certificate.)

The weather can change quickly so please be prepared for wind and rain just in case. Our tour office is located on 3rd and State Street. We are open at that location Monday through Friday. At the end of the tour your guide will drop you off in town or at the pier as you request. Your guide will ask you for your name and ask to see your **PASSPORT** when you arrive for the tour. This tour is in Skagway and departs from Skagway.
If your ship is docked in Haines then you will have to book Haines to Skagway Fast Ferry at your own expense.

There will be no refunds for missed tours due to not having passports with you.
