Our adventure begins very early with our team picking you up from your hotel at 4:00 hrs and heading for 3 hours to a small village called Mollepata. Here we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then, we continue for one more hour to the local community of Soraypampa. After receiving a short briefing and getting ready, we will begin our hike up to the Humantay Lake, passing through stunning landscapes and also the Salkantay and Humantay peaks. It takes about 1,5 hours to reach the lake, with low to moderate difficulty, but it will be more than rewarding once we arrive at this natural beauty. Once at the lagoon, we will have enough time to take pictures and bring an offer to the Apus.
After some free time and rest, we will begin our descent to Soraypampa for about another 1.5 hours, which is much easier than the way up. In Soraypampa and continue to Mollepata where we will have a well-deserved buffet lunch after some rest, we start making our way back to Cusco arriving at 5 p.m. approx.
The entry ticket will be bought during the tour.
