About this experience

Come paddle in paradise at one of the beautiful lakes in Orlando. Lake Ivanhoe is close to the attractions. We are family friendly and dog friendly. Take a swim on a warm day in this spring fed lake.

We are located in the Lake Ivanhoe Village, a hidden gem in Orlando. Stay in the village for a meal after your paddle session. You won't be dissapointed!

You can take your time with up to 4 hours of paddleboarding or kayaking on your schedule and pace. All boards are very stable ensuring you can enjoy this amazing activity on your own.

You’ll be enjoying the true natural beauty of Florida on the water. The lakes we choose are clean, safe and free of alligators. Take your time and paddle the whole lake or just float and gaze up at the sky for much needed relaxation and vitamin D!

We do not see gators on this lake system. Ask us why!

It is very important that you contact us to let us know which vessel/vessels you prefer for your rental. We offer Paddleboards (375lb weight limit), 2 person clear kayaks (375lb combined weight limit), 1 Person Clear Kayak (325lb weight limit) and regular 2 person kayaks, not clear (450lb weight limit). If you have a group visiting us, you can combine vessel types.

Small children can ride on a paddleboard or kayak with an adult. If a child under six is riding with an adult you do not have to purchase a ticket for them. Please let us know they will be joining you so that we can have an appropriate size vest for them.

You will be given a comprehensive lesson which provides the skills to safely and successfully rent boards or kayaks on your own self-guided tour.

You have up to 2 hours to enjoy your Paddleboard, Clear Paddleboard, Clear 2-Person Kayak, or Clear Single Kayak rental on our beautiful fresh spring-fed lake system by beautiful downtown Orlando.

The front lake has an amazing view of downtown Orlando. The next lake is more of a natural feel. After you paddle to the back of that lake, you go under a little bridge to the final lake that has multi-million dollar homes that we wish we could afford. One of them just sold for 24 million!

This waterway is not a coffee or tea colored. It is spring-fed. It looks like you are paddling across an aquarium!

Due to its designation by the Florida Wildlife Commission, there are no gators here. If a gator ever found its way here, it would be trapped out immediately. It is a safe and fun place to swim.

Bring your Bluetooth speaker and a cooler with beverages and snacks to enjoy your time on the water.

Afterwards, you might choose to enjoy some local restaurants here in the Ivanhoe Village. This City of Orlando park has a playground and a sand volleyball court for you to use as well. We'll let you borrow a volleyball if you want to!

Your rental Includes your vessel or choice, paddle, safety vest, leash, dry-bag, and water bottle. We have the most stable paddle boards and kayaks in the industry for your lake adventure. We are family friendly and dog friendly. If you are bringing your dog along, let us know. We have life vests available for your best friend if you need one.

Please call us if you need a different start time than what we have offered. We will try our best to accommodate you.

***IMPORTANT*** If you are not comfortable on the water by yourself, we do offer guided tours that includes lesson and instructor/guide by your side.

Meeting point

We will meet you at The Lake Ivanhoe Boat Ramp across from Epic Paddle Adventures. There is plenty of parking alongside the ramp.

Important notes

You will meet at the boat ramp. Your EPIC instructor will be wearing a bright neon green EPIC GUIDE shirt or vest. If you don't see EPIC personnel, call 407-300-8781 so we know you have arrived for your rental.

We provide dry-bags for you to borrow for your phone, wallet, keys, etc.

Yes we have restrooms and a place for you to store luggage, purse, etc.
