The tour starts at 8 am from your hotel in Quito, and then get stunning views of the Andes Mountains as you drive northwest to the unique Hummingbird Garden

Mindo, Ecuador is set in a valley surrounded by the Andes Mountains. The rivers and elevation combine to create a lush cloud forest more than 100 square miles in size. The landscape and climate in Mindo are ideal for the more than 450 different types of birds, numerous species of exotic butterflies, and a variety of animals and reptiles who call the cloud forest home. See 15 to 20 different species of hummingbirds, depending on the season or time of the day, and try local tropical fruits.

Take a 1- 2-hour walk into the cloud forest to admire the diverse flora and fauna up close. Look for endemic species of plants and some birds found nowhere else on earth as you encounter a series of beautiful waterfalls.
