Start your private tour with a pickup from your hotel in Hurghada at 1.00am. You will be transferred by private modern a/c van and head for Cairo (about 6 hours' drive). Upon your arrival in Cairo you will meet your qualified Egyptologist tour guide who will tell you all the details and stories about history, art and mystery of all the places you will visit.
Your first stop will be at the plateau of Giza where you will visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the only remaining wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world, as well as the pyramid of his son; Chephren and the one of his grandson; Mycerinus. Then you will move up the plateau to the panorama, the highest point of the plateau where you can take great pictures and ride a camel (optional). After that you can visit the Solar Boat museum (optional) or proceed to the Great Lion headed Sphinx, the Guardian of the pyramids and the Valley Temple (Mummification Temple) of Chephren.
Later you will have lunch at a good quality restaurant. Next you will head for the Egyptian museum that has more than 136,000 artifacts of which you will wonder at the treasures of the young king Tut Ankhamen (1350 B.C.), the objects of the Heretic king Akhenaten, the colossal statues, the animal mummy room the Royal Mummy Room and much more.
Then you will have a glimpse of the Islamic architecture in Cairo when you visit the mosque of Ibn Tulun, the oldest mosque still intact in Cairo. It dates back to the 9th century, you can also climb its minaret and enjoy a wonderful view of Islamic Cairo. Finally you will be transferred back to your hotel in Hurghada
