Get picked up from your accommodation, harbour or airport, and depart towards Mindelo city center.

Explore Mindelo, the capital of the island, known as the most welcoming and attractive city in the country. Visit its church, municipal market, pass through Cesária Évora's house and enjoy a panoramic view of the capital from the top of Fortin. The tour will continue along the Avenida Marginal to Praia da Bote to the African market, where the first community was established.

Meet locals and discover varieties of Cape Verdean fish.

Then, drive to the eastern part of the island where animals, endemic plants and farmland can be seen along the green Calhau Valley until the fishing village of Salamansa.

Drive to Monte Verde Natural Park, admire the stunning landscape of the entire island, and take beautiful photos of other Cape Verde islands.

Take a breack and enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Next, visit the village of Baía das Gatas and take a stroll through its shallow lagoons and then move on to the white sand dunes by the sea.

The tour concludes with drop of at your accommodation.

• Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the activity starts.
• Cruise ship passengers will be picked up at the only exit gate of the small Port of Mindelo. Once the cruise ship has docked, you will have to walk for 5 minutes to meet the guide at the only exit gate of the port. Please see the exact pickup point in the following picture https://rb.gy/jfltmv
• The Guide will be holding a sign with your name on it.
• For Hotel pickup, or anywhere in Mindelo, be sure to specify your pick-up location during the booking process or let us know no later than 48 hours before the start time.
• Please bring sandals/flip flops, a towel, a hat, swimwear, sunscreen and lunch money (optional).
