Kelham Island Museum is an industrial museum located on Alma Street on the River Don in the center of Sheffield, England. It was opened in 1982.This manmade island was at the very forefront of the Industrial Revolution in the 1900s, but as times changed, industrial activity moved away, leaving the remains of numerous cutlery and steel works, factories and workshops.
