Firstly you will visit Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple where the 4th longest Reclining Buddha Statue is found.
Right across the road you may also visit the Dhammikarama Burmese Temple which holds a Buddha statue standing at 8.2 meters, making it the tallest in Malaysia. The existence of these two temples is due to the early settlement of the Thai and Burmese community in the early 1800s.
After that, take a scenic drive through the streets of George Town - UNESCO World Heritage Site and witness the ramnant left by the British and local dwellers of the past.
