Qutub Minar is a minaret located in the Qutab complex. It is a heritage site located in Delhi. Qutub Minar is a tapering tower, which was designed similar to the Minaret of Jam located in Western Afghanistan. The first floor of the tower was built in 12th century. The second, third and fourth floors were built in 13th century and the last floor was completed in 14th century. There were attempts to add a sixth storey to the tower, which failed. This is the victory tower of Mughal, which indicated the beginning of Muslim rule in India.

Lotus Temple is a notable architectural marvel famous for its unique lotus structure. The temple has won several awards and recognitions for its style of building, the concept of religion and the beauty. It is one of the most visited monuments in the world. This is a modern style non-religion oriented temple.

Humayun’s tomb or Maqbara-e-Humayun is the resting tomb of Mughal king, Humayun. This tomb was initiated by his first wife in 16th century. This is the first garden tomb in Asia and is a heritage site too. The tomb is not just one building of architectural value. The complex holds numerous monuments, tombs and other structures for exploration.

India Gate is a war memorial, which was initially named as the All India War Memorial. This structure is situated Rajpath region of New Delhi. Do not confuse it with the Gateway of India, which is located in Mumbai. This structure stands as a memorial to more than 70,000 soldiers who died in the First World War and the third Anglo-Afghan war.

The Rashtrapati Bhavan or the 'President's House or the 'Presidential Palace' was Lutyens' and Baker's inspired Imperial architecture that was made to be the residence of the Viceroy and Governor General of India during the British Rule. Formerly known as the 'Viceroy's House' up till 1950, this structure speaks volumes of a classical design that cohesively blended with both western and Indian styles depicting architectural excellence that marked the identity of Delhi and the seat of the Government of India in today's modern ambience.

Akshardham complex is a Hindu temple and a spiritual campus located in New Delhi. The complex was constructed in 2005 in Noida Mor region of New Delhi. 70% of tourists who visit Delhi, visit this temple complex. Located on the banks of River Yamuna, this temple is a beautiful place for sightseeing, exploring and pilgrimage.

Red fort is one of the historic monuments located in Delhi. This monument gets its name from the red colored sandstone used for construction by the Mughals. This fort is located in the center of the city and was used as a ceremonial spot for the royals. Even today, the spot is used for political and national ceremonies. Red fort is not just about the outer beauty of the fortified wall. You can find many interesting attractions inside the fort like palaces, halls, museums and others.

An excursion of Delhi will be incomplete without a walk through the walled city of Old Delhi. It was founded as Shahjahanabad by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and has maintained the Mughal character about it till yet in some forms. You can find Havelis from the yester years, alleyways dotted with traders who have been there for generations, homes in old style construction not renovated to the match with the contemporary Delhi etc.

Raj Ghat holds the cremation spot of many notable people other than Gandhi. Jawaharlal Nehru’s memorial is located at the northern part of Raj Ghat. It is called as the forest of peace. Adjacent to it, the cremation spot of K R Narayan is located. Other notable people’s memorials found her are Lal Bahadur Shastri, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, GianiZail Singh, Chandra Shekar, I K Gujral and others.
