About this experience

Break free from the furnace-like heat of the city to discover beautiful views of the Berber countryside in the company of a knowledgeable private guide and driver. You will be taken via private transport from your accommodation at the foot of the Zalagh Hills, a secluded getaway just half an hour from Fez.
Zalagh, named after the Berber word for male kid goat, is a ridge that remains rugged in appearance and hiking along it is one captivating experience that gives one insight into ancient Berber culture. From the top, take in magnificent views of the Medina of Fez, the Rif Mountains, the Sebou Valley, and the Sais Plains. Old olive trees, local farmhouses, and fields configured to still work with mules for farming, firewood use for cooking, and wells for fresh water greet you along the way.
The Hike is about 1 hour 30 minutes to the top, perfect for either advanced or beginners with a flexible speed depending on your fitness capability.
