Departure from Fes to chefchaouen, We’ll pick you up at your hotel or riad in the morning, Drive to the blue city of Chefchaouen. Arrive in Chefchaouen, It takes about 3 or 4 hours to Chefchaouen. During the drive, you can enjoy nice view of Rif Mountains.
Walk around the town You’ll find a kasbah in the center of the town, built by Moulay Ismail of Meknes. Chefchaouen was once a fortress to fight against Europeans.
Shop in medina Medina is rather small and easy to walk around. Restaurants and cafes are also painted in blue and nice to sit back watching town and people.
It’a good idea to go to the terrace of a restaurant in the kasbah square. You can enjoy the view of the town. This is a tajine, covered with French fries.
Outside of chefchaouen medina,
Medina is surrounded by stone walls and it has several gates. Its medieval atmosphere is something to see. Outside of medina, it’s also blue.
