About this experience

Start at Pilgrims' Square, where pilgrims have stopped for centuries before entering the city, and admire the Church of Our Lady of Refuge, which dates back to 1753. The storyteller, a local Galician girl, will tell you about Ravachol, one of the old carnival characters of Pontevedra. Your tour will then take you to one of the most important squares within the city walls, where blacksmiths worked for centuries. You will also see the Praza do Teucro, which is part of a much-traveled route of the Portuguese Way of St. James. Here you will discover a fountain of medieval origin. The tour ends with a visit to the square where medieval markets were held, Praza da Pedrera.
