Immerse yourself in the history of Caminito and the Tango and learn about the legends that have made this musical genre world-renowned. Your special tango audio walk begins in front of one of the oldest buildings in the area, the National Wax Museum, where your narrator, a personal friend of Carlos Gardel, begins the story. You'll pass by the Pearl Bar, which dates back to 1882. This small restaurant brings back memories for your narrator, who explains how the tango begins. You will reach the Plazoleta de los Suspiros, where you will hear more anecdotes from Gardel. As you walk along the "Caminito", your narrator will add comments about the particular characters of the genre and you will learn about the tango song "Caminito" that gave its name to this popular tourist spot in Buenos Aires.
This adventure begins right in front of the Wax museum, it is our starting point, although we will not go in. The Boca neighborhood has great history. Built in 1902 as one of the first buildings in the early 20 century. Follow the music and the narrators instructions. Let your imagination take you to the early 1900s.
