We’ll pick you up right from your hotel in Cairo for an exciting day exploring the famous sites of El Fayoum! It’s about a 95 km drive from Cairo to Fayoum. Get ready for a full-day safari in our comfortable 4WD as tour around wadi Rayan, which has been a Protected Area since 1989. Our adventure begins in the beautiful Wadi El Rayan, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site thanks to the amazing 40-million-year-old whale skeletons found there. On the way to the stunning Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls, we’ll stop at the Magic Lake, where you’ll have the chance to try sandboarding down the dunes, and then we’ll visit Mudawara Mountain. After that, we’ll head to the breathtaking Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls. Wadi El Rayan is a natural depression in the western desert, featuring two lakes joined by Egypt’s only waterfalls, created in 1970 from overflow water from Fayoum’s farmlands.
