It houses large exhibitions in the central square. there are many beautiful artifacts in the museum but the most important to visit is the royal mummies section which is the jewel of the museum.

Hanging Church (El Muallaqa, Sitt Mariam, St Mary) Visit old Coptic Cairo, located nearby the National Museum of Egyptian civilization. visit the Hanging Church built on the walls of the Roman Fortress. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, it is one of the most striking churches in Cairo and the oldest Christian church in Egypt. Also, you will visit the cavern church dedicated to the holy family. You will continue to visit Abu Serga church It is the ancient church built on the site where the Holy Family resided during their escape journey, Its current location is what is known as the Complex of Religions in Old Cairo, within the Fortress of Babylon.
