About this experience

The 8 hours private fully guided Shanghai tour will starts from 12:00. In this tour you will visit 4 highlight sites in Shanghai city area: Yuyuan Garden, Yuyuan Market, Oriental Pearl TV Tower (You will take the life to the sightseeing floor of the tower), and the Bund. And the evening Pujiang River Cruise will show you the best evening scenery of the Bund.

Detailed itinerary

In the morning please enjoy your free time. At 12:00 our guide will meet you at your hotel lobby in Shanghai city area and then start the one day tour with Yuyuan Garden which was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. The garden was specially built for Pan’s parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age.

Then you will take a walk in Yuyuan Market, a bustling place were you will meet some century-old restaurants, interesting souvenirs, and many authentic local snacks(dinner at your own expense).

Afterwards, we move to visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in the Pudong District which is the tallest TV tower in Asia and a symbol of modern Shanghai due to its unique style and the height. You will take a birds-eye view of the fabulous Shanghai City on the transparent glass floor.

Next, come to visit XianTiandi where you will learn the old Shanghai and new Shanghai at the same time.

You will also visit the famous Nanjing Road afterwards, the busiest place in Shanghai to get idea of the prosperity of this metropolis.

Then, move to the Bund, one of the most famous landmarks in Shanghai. You will walk along it and appreciate the beautiful city when listening the history explanation from tour guide.

In the evening when you cruise along the Huangpu River, you will pass by the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance. They are symbols of Shanghai’s past.

After the tour, you will be escorted back to hotel at around 20:00.
