Explore one of the most amazing spots in Morocco, the Ouzoud Waterfalls are truly stunning. Take this day trip from Marrakech and head about 93 miles (150km) northeast of the city to see these spectacular falls, which are on the Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival, we offer you a scenic hike with a local guide to visit these falls, see the river plunge 360ft (110m) high in a complex network of waterfalls that cascade one into another through 3 major and several minor drops, the surrounding countryside offers red cliffs, oleander and doves and, if you are lucky, you will catch a glimpse of some Barbary apes. Bird-watchers will enjoy a trip to the waterfalls.
Lunch at one of the delicious restaurants in Ouzoud (included) surrounded by lime-trees or enjoys Moroccan specialties and fresh-squeezed orange juice at one of the many cafes along the terraces on the path to the falls. And a short walk will bring you to the top of the falls from where you can see small and constantly active mills.
