Bat Trang pottery village is located on the left bank of the Red River, formed from the Ly Dynasty. 15km from the center of the city to the southeast. Bat Trang ceramic products are highly appreciated for their quality, many designs, designs and types, divided into functional groups such as household ceramics, worshiping objects, fine arts pottery, construction ceramics and decorative ceramics.

On the first stage of our tour we cross the Red river by Long Bien bridge – the oldest one in Hanoi built over 100 years ago under French colonial time to enjoy the panoramic view of the Red River, watch the boats float underneath and see the green vegetable farm on the island.
The second stage of our tour continues through the tranquil banana and farming area along the river bank. Passing through green rice paddy, lush garden and off the beaten path to a dirt road that takes us to the 1000 years old Bat Trang Ceramic village. Take a walk to visit Bat Trang ancient village to find out culture and lifestyle of the most famous pottery village in North Vietnam and visit the amazing tiny alley to the workshops to see how porcelain product is made where you also have chance to make pottery pieces for yourself.

On the third stage of our tour we meet a local family and try some candy with tea while have time talking to them with our guide to assist as a translator. We’ll have lunch in a local restaurant where we will try some authentic Vietnamese food.
In the afternoon we ride more around the villages, fields and along the river bank to enjoy the cool breeze of the Red river. passing through beautiful village of Northern Vietnam Countryside we will reach a local boat station, take a cruise on the red river to go back to Hanoi. Get your caffeine fix with a unique Egg Coffee before getting back to your hotel. Our trip finishes at about 4:00-4:30pm
