Stop 1

We will see Uchisar Castle Panoramic view.

We will see panoramic view of Love Valley

We will visit one of family pottery worskop in Avanos. You will see how to make potteries and ceramics. You will have pottery making demonstration in the workshop.

We will stop for lunch one of local restaurant in Avanos

Stop 5

Zelve was first inhabited by humans during Neolithic times (around 10,000 BC). Over the centuries it was occupied by different civilizations, including Hittites, Assyrians, Persians, Romans and Byzantines. During these times it was used as both a settlement and a place of worship. The earliest remains date back to 8th century BC – making it one of the oldest known human settlements in Asia Minor.
In 1923 an earthquake destroyed most of the buildings in Zelve Valley – but luckily many were still standing when the area was declared an open-air museum in 1957.
