Imlil is a small Berber village is located about 70 km from Marrakech.it's the last largest village before the Atlas Mountains and it is the starting point for hikes and treks to Toubkal .
Passing by Moulay Brahim Gorges, Asni (market on Saturdays) and then between terraced fields of vegetables, fruits, walnut trees, cherries arrival at imlil 1740m, welcome by a local guide with a glass of mint tea, then a mule ride or a stroll through the Berber villages (Ait Souka, Targa Imoula, Tagadirte , between fields of walnut fruit trees, cherries, apples, vegetables, then passing by a waterfall before climbing to the armed village 1900m lunch with a Berber family overlooking the highest peak in North Africa Toubkal 4167m, visit of the village one of the oldest in the massif, then descend by the western route with a view of the Ait Mizane valley, ancient irrigated terraced fields, passing through the villages of Ashien and Fimlil before the center, end of the trek and return to Marrakech.
