Your Private Tour Driver will be at your Cruise Ship or Athens Residence ahead of time & ready to meet you at the agreed time. From there your journey heads to the Athens Riviera with its many popular beaches & restaurants as well as experiencing many of Athens distinct neighborhoods along the way such as Palaion Faliro, Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza.

90 MINUTE OLIVE TASTING & TOUR

OLIVE OIL TASTING: Your tour will visit the olive groves learning about the different varieties of olive, understanding its history & place in Greek culture. The visit continues to our small-scale, state-of-the art cold extraction olive press, where participants hear about the production of extra virgin olive oil, its challenges and secrets for superior quality. Participants then get to experience three extra-virgin olive oils, and learn how to distinguish their fruity, bitter and spicy aromas.

SEASIDE LUNCH. A 3 course Traditional lunch is provided by the sea including fish and vegetarian options.

Extra stops available on request:
LAKE VOUILIAGMENI. A natural rock formation & small lake set just off the sea front. The waters of this spring have been used by locals for decades as a health treatment. Changing facilities are also on hand.

THE TEMPLE OF POSEIDON. At the southernmost point of the Peninsula of Athens lies the Temple of Poseidon. Located 70 meters on a clifftop this amazing temple was dedicated to the God Poseidon. It was the last thing Ancient sailors saw on leaving port & the first site on return with many legends to learn.

THORIKOS THEATER. Open and unguarded, this site contains the ruins of the world's oldest Theater alongside the ancient Greek town around it which once thrived from local Silver Mines.
