Choose the time most suitable for you and your guide will be waiting for you at the main entrance to the Museum.

A state of the Art Museum made to house every artifact from the Acropolis and surrounding area from the Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece. Built on pedestals over Roman and Byzantine excavations which can be seen both in the run up to the main entrance and more closely with your guide, even before entering you will be provided with a valuable historical depth and context in the history of Athens.

Once inside, you will be guided through the highlights of the permanent collection, including the unique masterpieces of classical Greek art which once adorned the temples opposite in the Acropolis itself.

You will learn about the history of the most important pieces but also their fascinating stories, mythologies and the perspectives of the Ancient Greeks who worshiped at the site.

Thoughtfully constructed, on the top level which has a wonderful view to the Parthenon you will also find an impressive spatial reconstruction of its Frieze with original sculptures in place.
