Essaouira is a little seaside town the most fascinating city on the Atlantic coast, with walls that separate the old city from the new town, It surprises you with its small beautiful, and calm streets.
After visiting the port with its bronze cannons you can enjoy a lunch of seafood at one of the local restaurants that you will find there.
Our driver will pick up you at the riad that will host you in Marrakech around 8 a.m. On the way, you'll cross the Argan trees forest, where you'll spot some of the famous goats climbing the trees. Then you'll have the chance to visit a women's cooperative where the famous Moroccan argan oil is extracted and worked to make cosmetic and food products. You'll continue to the coast and finally arrive in Essaouira where you can enjoy a walk in its fascinating port to watch the fishermen sell their catch. Also, you can visit the famous Spanish cannons facing the ocean.
Then you can lose yourself around the medina, visit some shops and buy local products like carpets, olives, cosmetic products, leatherwork,... You can have lunch in a seafood stall and try fresh grilled fish or shellfish: simply delicious! After that, you can choose to walk down to the beach to enjoy peace in front of the ocean or enjoy a tea or a coffee in a cafè terrace on Place Moulay Hassan. You'll meet the driver around 5 p.m. and return back to Marrakech where your day trip ends with the drop-off at your riad/hotel around 7 PM
