We will start the tour by walking through winding alleyways in the oldest part of the city, the Gothic Quarter. While the name brings us back to the medieval era, the point is that everything started a long time before, during the Roman Empire when it was given the name of "Barcino". The name actually was much longer than that, you'll be surprised when you'll learn it!
We will see medieval palaces and churches, the old Jewish Quarter, the famous Barcelona's busiest market, La Boqueria, and of course, some Roman remains.
Halfway of the walking tour, there will be time to relax and to taste some churros dipped into hot chocolate.
After having visited the old town, we will have a lunch break in one of the best tapas restaurants in town.
Tapas time!

Construction techniques, materials, geometry, symbolism and more will be unveiled by your private licensed guide, both outside and inside the Basilica. Our licensed tour guides will not just give you a skip line ticket for a self-guided tour with an audioguide and leave you on your own, don't get fooled!
