About this experience

Enjoy a fun, informative and relaxing tour of one of the most beautiful areas outside Rome, rich of art and natural wonders.
A private driver-guide with comfortable new air-conditioned van will pick you up at your accommodation in Rome.

This unique and memorable day trip can start from your hotel in Rome.
An expreienced english speaking driver-guide will pick you up with a comfortable new air-conditioned vehicle.

You will first reach Viterbo, a lovely town that well preserves its medieval walls and monuments and was the residence of the Popes during XIII century.

Here you will visit the Cathedral and the Papal Palace where the first conclave election took place in history. You will also see the tombs of the Popes that lived in the city.

After touring Viterbo highlights you will reach Bagnaia and the magnificent Villa Lante with its famous Renaissance gardens. The water games and the architecture designs are fantastic and are a must-see in the region.

The guide will take you great places to have lunch with genuine local food and wine ( not included in the tour price). A large production of chestnuts, hazelnuts and other agricultural products make local cuisine really tasty and truly worth trying.

In the afternoon you will enjoy a ride around the natural volcanic Lake Vico, featured in many movies and very little touched by human hand.

The panorama is truly enchanting and you will have the opportunity to take many beautiful pictures.

The trip can end with a fun and relaxing swim in the Papal hot baths ( optional at your own expenses ).
These natural sources of hot therapeutic water have been famous since Ancient Rome and for centuries nobles and locals have been enjoying their pools.
