About this experience

Located in the center of the Terras do Miño Biosphere Reserve, the thousand-year-old city of Lucus Augusti offers the visitor a great diversity of both natural and cultural resources. With two World Heritage Sites, Roman Wall and Lugo Cathedral, the city is one of the most important stops on the Primitive Way to Santiago.

In Lugo we can visit Roman remains such as the wall, bridge, baths or mosaics; the complete network of unique museums such as the Domus de Mitreo (ancient temple dedicated to the oriental god Mitra), the House of Mosaics or the Provincial Museum; or the Cathedral, one of the most beautiful and coquettish in Galicia.

After the walk, we can delight ourselves with Lugo gastronomy in the "wine zone", with which we will accompany with the famous tapas of Lugo: Plaza do Campo, Rua Nova, Rua da Cruz... This area allows us to stroll through the squares and nooks and crannies from the city.
