What you are required to bring on safari:  Only a small case or rucksack,  A pair of long trousers and jersey for the cool mornings and evenings in addition to plenty of light clothes for hot days (do not forget a hat), comfortable shoes/sandal, snacks and drinks (we provide cooler box for your drinks)  Torch, sunglasses, suntan lotion, Toiletries, insect repellent/spray  Camera, memory cards, binoculars, maps, guide-books  All personal travel insurance  Flying Doctors Service for emergency evacuation cover valid for 2 months (This can be arranged by our office and cost advised) What to expect on a Camping Safari?  This is an adventure safari, facilities are basic and not what you will expect in a lodge or permanent camps. You will stay in public campsites, located inside the park or on private campsites on the outskirts. The campsites in the parks are not fenced and it is not unlikely that you may find elephants wandering between the tents or bump into antelopes on your way to the shower.  Accommodation will be in waterproof 2-person-tents with built-in mosquito nets at the entrances and windows. Comfortable 5 cm thick sleeping mattresses are provided, as well and camping furniture such as tables, safari chairs, functional cutlery and crockery.  You will also be accompanied by a skilled safari cook who will take care of your well-being. He will prepare all meals, often even including a packed meal for a picnic lunch. The camp and food will be set up and prepared for you, so that you can just relax and enjoy your holiday.  The facilities at the campsite are basic, they include cold shower, few places have warm shower, the washrooms are basic mostly pit latrines.  Our vehicles are fitted with inverters for charging your phones or cameras when driving.
